It all started with a hunt for a vending machine that served Indian snacks during a family visit to one of Dubai’s finest shopping malls. Yes, there were plenty of vending machines – but, none served Indian snacks. There were plenty of chips packets, crackers, chocolates BUT NO Indian snacks or Namkeen as it is affectionately known as. NONE.
We had some beautiful views – the crowd, the shopping experience, the sales, but nothing delicious to eat on the go. The chips packets on offer at the vending machines helped to keep the kids munching, but did nothing to satisfy our desire for something that would give a tantalizing kick, something crunchy, a melody of taste, something exotic without costing the earth. Something DESI. That experience inspired us to create DESI MUNCH.
We went back to our kitchens, summoned at least 5 raw material suppliers for every ingredient, chose the finest and created unique combinations of NAMKEEN, each reflecting a unique snacking experience, culinary tradition somewhere in Indian sub-continent.
We use whole ingredients in their natural form — such as cashews, raisins, dals, peanuts, rice flakes and toss these up with our unique combinations of masala (spices) – and viola! DESI MUNCH. We do not add preservatives and there is no added MSG either. Each DESI MUNCH product is packed in a specially formulated laminate pouch, nitrogen flushed to ensure freshness.
Oh! By the way – DESI MUNCH has ZERO Cholesterol and 0% Trans Fat.

Azure Global Foods has an in-House quality assurance program designed to ensure that all products meet or exceed the company’s standards when shipped. Product specifications include, chip diameter and thickness, weight, moisture content, breakage, color analysis, fat percentage and salt content. These testing procedures are conducted at our facility at no charge to our customers.

We offer the knowledge, experience, and expertise to meet your specifications from individual to bulk packaging, while facilitating compliance with current Global standards for nutritional labelling.
