Department of Protective Systems Certification (Dubai Police)
Department of Protective Systems (DPS) is the regulatory authority of Dubai Police for Security system solutions in the Emirate of Dubai. DPS has specified the minimum requirement of Security surveillance systems in general public area, malls, restaurants, shops, hospitals, hotels and other high value metal commodities show rooms, shops and ware house. This is to ensure the protection for capital investments and any other security threats and incidentals. Dubai Police has access to certain areas of the security systems provided in these locations and they receive an alarm. FOSS has been trained and accredited by DPS to install these systems.
Abu Dhabi Distribution Company
FOSS incorporates a continual improvement policy with regards quality management. In this regard, we have various field staff certified by ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company). ADDC Competency Certification enables FOSS to work on or near network equipment (electricity and / or water) under the remit of ADDC. As an approved contractor, ADDC have Certified FOSS have shown a strong commitment to enhance the HSE culture throughout the organization; identify and focus on HSE critical risks which have the highest potential for fatal injuries and prevent reoccurrences of accidents and violations to ADDC SSR which contributes to injuries and fatalities. In addition to HSE competency, FOSS has attained Technical Certification from ADDC and as such has shown a high degree of skill, knowledge and expertise in regards telecommunication field works.
We have an extensive track record and tried and tested operational capabilities to design, install and maintain fibre optic cable networks. We have particular expertise in long haul optical cable infrastructure often referred to as Out Side Plant (OSP).
We can design and install all elements of a physical optical network including the construction of dark fiber routes to the activation of the network.
We have successfully completed hundreds of large scale OSP projects, including but not limited to: Multimode and Singlemode, Long Haul Networks, Metro Networks, Campus Based Networks, Access Networks.
Our Management Team has OSP expertise that spans more than a century and a half, with an average experience of our field engineering personnel is more than 13 years.
