Meyer-Reumann & Partners is a partnership of the German lawyers Rolf Meyer-Reumann (founder) and Mrs. Elena Schildgen (since 25 years) registered as a civil works company in Dubai, U.A.E. in 2008. M&P’s predecessor, Meyer-Reumann Legal Consultancy, was established in 1989 by a license from the Ruler of Dubai without the need of a local sponsor.
Rolf Meyer-Reumann, the founder, has been practicing as a lawyer in the Gulf Region since 1981/2. He was the first German lawyer practicing law in Saudi Arabia(1981), the first to establish a legal office in Dubai(1989), the first moving to Baghdad during the Iraq embargo(1998), the first opening a branch in Erbil, Kurdistan(2008), the first opening a branch in Alexandria, the first getting a license for a fully foreign owned company for legal services in Oman(mid of 2009).
M&P today has a network of offices in the U.A.E., Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Oman and Saudi Arabia providing legal consultancy related to the entire Middle East (Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, U.A.E. and Yemen) predominantly on commercial, corporate and investment laws to internationally operating Clients.
